Fingers crossed HillBoy will scare the snakes away...and hopefully the hippos who were found wandering just 15 metres from our tent shortly after this photo was taken wouldn't be able to handle the heat either!
We’re just back from Kenya, where we met up with members of my family who are driving from Cape Town to the UK – for details visit www.hoektohooke.com/. At their request I took over a raft of Gurkha supplies – taking up a significant amount of baggage allowance! The supplies were much appreciated by one and all – including me! A delicious curry was enjoyed around the camp fire with the noises of the wild animals of the Masai Mara in the background… probably the most memorable setting in which I have enjoyed a Gurkha curry to date! (And the Hillboy seemed to keep the snakes at bay.)
